Must love vignettes!

For as long as I can remember, I have always "decked and decked and decked the halls" of the house (in and out) for Christmas. I have to admit, it is a lot of fun, and everyday you say, "ok, done" ....but tomorrow you see another corner in the house, or another tree in the yard that needs adorning. Because this, is my 34th Christmas to decorate ....I have been learning to scale down and do vignettes instead. I got the idea from looking through Pottery Barn catelogs years ago. The simplicity looked so beautiful - uncluttered, yet you knew it was Christmas! Here is my guestroom vignette - simplicity at its best!
