Which was your favorite as a kid?

Mine was….. Good Humor Toasted Almond

Baskin & Robbins : Black Cherry or Pistachio

But I was AN ODDBALL. I liked fish sandwiches instead of hamburgers. Onion rings instead of french fries. Orange soda instead of coke!

A friend and I made a pit stop at Dairy Queen today... wasn't even a hot day here but it still tasted quite yummy!

Seven days over 100 degrees?!!! Ok, you win! (yikes) I love ice cream in the summertime, too. Not so much in the winter months. Right now my favorite is the Fleur de Sel Caramel by Haggen Dazs...salty,sweet,creamy...yummy. Stay cool:)

I liked root beer rather than cola and I prefer onion rings but fries are good too. Favorite ice cream as a kid was ice cream sandwiches. I thought it was fun because it was a sandwich and a treat.
And it's way too hot down there for me. I'd have melted. But not from being too sweet!

Howdy from a fellow Texan! Just found your blog & am enjoying all your gorgeous photos! I loved orangesicles as a kid! And of course I still love ice cream as an adult---just about any flavor! Unfortunately for my waistline, here in our small Texas town, we have a Dairy Queen as well as a Braum's & they both have great ice cream!!! Patti

Oh my gosh! Pralines & Cream for sure... and I love it stacked atop Jamoca Almond Fudge, going back to my teenage years. :)

But I'm telling you, Graeter's Black Raspberry Chip sounds like a worthy contender!

Fun post!! xo~m.

That is how my mother (who has since passed) got my daughter to speak English when she was four years old and visiting her grandparents in the states for the first time- she said if she could say I scream you scream we all scream for ice cream she would buy her ice cream...and my daughter began speaking English finally!!! When we got back to Norway she couldn't understand why everyone wasn't speaking English!!! I'm so glad we don't have 100 degree days...love the warmth of the sun but too much of a good thing can be...well...too much!!! Have a great weekend!!
